Folkert de Jong is an artist based in Amsterdam who makes installations and large-scale sculptures made of polyurethane and styrofoam. He plays with human figures and props in life-size representations of history conflicts, politics and war iconic scenes contrasting with soft colors. Intense!

Vespa S Squareheads

Dan Bergeron (aka fauxreel) has been very busy this past month plastering five Canada cities with 324 seven-foot-tall Vespa Squareheads wheatpastes to promote the new Vespa S. Full credits and more campaign info. If you have some time, check out the "projections" on fauxreel.ca.

Molho.tv

Brazilian agency W/Brasil commissioned Molho to conceive a two-minute free-form piece keeping in mind the concepts of habitat, diversity, living, and taste for Maxhaus, a Brazilian brand specializing in modular, custom lofts. Molho is a studio based in Sao Paulo, led by creative director Marcelo Garcia. The studio aims to conceptualize and produce ideas in all mediums and formats. The piece was conceived in a month and a half using several types of animation techniques and styles executed by Molho’s 2d and 3d teams. It is currently being viewed in TV, cinemas, on-site projections, and the internet.
