Visualize what a Lexus IS F sounds like

Lexus IS F Visualizer is directed by Crush via Dentsu Canada and is currently being shown in cinemas in Canada.

"We were given an audio clip of the car running full tilt and asked 'what would that sound look like?' We then interpreted the sounds visually and used Maya and After Effects to create imagery that built adrenaline and took the audience on a journey," Crush Creative Director Gary Thomas explains.

Redefining "Bullet Time"

Timesculpture commercial by Toshiba was shot using 200 Toshiba Gigashot camcorders and is presented as an evolution to the famous "Bullet Time" introduced by the Matrix.

"Rather than showing a 3-D rotation of a still moment, this groundbreaking new filming process manipulates moving snapshots of time using Toshiba technology, redefining cinematic human movement". No CGI imagery was used on the commercial.

Mogwai - Friend of the Night

This clip for Glaswegian band Mogwai is a sweet celebration of metamorphosis and the grotesquely beautiful. A woman's tears run down across a table, through a child's loop the loop road set, and become little white globes of the earth, teapots, bottles, salt and pepper shakers. A great video from one of my favoutite bands on the always cool Portable Film website.
