Butter-fly

img. Levi's

After scouring the net for someone who'd photographed it, I've finally found an image of the recent Levi's billboard under Old Street Bridge in London. A placement that's known for it's innovative and experimental billboard placements, the Levi's ad takes the age old hobby of Butterfly collecting and cleverly folds its jeans as if Butterflies in a giant glass casing. Pretty clever and nicely executed and also sure to last longer than adidas's Grün shoe that was just asking for trouble!

Has the large hadron collider destroyed the world yet?

Brilliant.

Swype

img. Swype interface

Impressive development of the touch screen format, swipe movements and gestures. Swype seems to work amazingly well for what look like very fast and erratic movements. Developed by the co-creator of the mobile T9 input process. Watch the amazing video at the [via] link below and find out more at their site Swype Inc

New bound piece from Nikki Farquharson , Snippets is a collection of overheard conversations collected over three months. Simple concept, interesting results.

Difficult is worth doing

.vid Live TV ad

Last night 19 skydivers spell out the word Honda in the UK's first live tv promo, inspired by the car manufacturer's new advertising strapline: "Difficult is worth doing".

"The stunt is a means of gaining publicity for Honda's new multi-million pound ad campaign, which features 45 skydivers promoting the Honda Accord by creating a series of shapes over the Mojave desert to reflect new features on the car."

Brand Tags

what does apple say to you?

Interesting experiment in consumer perception, Brand Tags presents a series of brand logo's and all your required to do is submit the first word or phrase the pop's into your head. Maybe not the most original concept, but nicely executed and you can see key word results for each of the brands with the typical cloud formation of tags. Delveloped by Noah Brier
