FreelanceBiography:
As a kid, Brian Gossett drew his He-Man figures rather than playing with them. Soon he began putting muscles on everything he drew, from animals to ice cream. Today, Brian lives in Los Angeles as a freelance designer/art director and pursuing his dream as starring in the sequel to the Shogun Assassin. He is also a pretty decent graphic designer, or so he would like to think.
Brian received his BFA at the University of Houston in 2001 graduating with honors. Since then he has been involved in a wide variety of projects over the years, big and small. To this day Brian still puts muscle into his work, figuratively not literally. Some of Brian's clients include Coke, Apple, Nike, Nickelodeon, MTV, Sony Playstation, Turner South, AOL, Lexus, Rome Snowboards, IFC, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., Fox, Disney, We, Food Network, Nokia, Activision and many more.
Interests:
boom-boxes, ankle socks, wasabi mustard, finding old mix-tapes from 10 years ago, doodling on napkins, hammocks, argyle, gnutella and waffles, crime scenes, diagonal stripes, counter-spaces, 8-bit graphics, plaid

Matt Morgan | Demo Team “Growl”

My good friend Matt just informed me about the music video he directed for Demo Team entitled “Growl.” Matt is a young prodigy who was working as a graphic designer while barely out of high school. The song is a really melancholic and beautiful folk song and the video fits it perfectly. It is filled with earthy textures and a very minimal palette that looks like how the song feels. I personally love both the song and the video and can’t wait to hear more from Demo Team.
