Biography:

i am a graphic designer and fine artist living in maui, hawaii. i like working in all medias, but especially the combination of analog and digital mixed media. handmade or drawn things scanned into the computer, manipulated digitally, then printed out and manipulated by hand, then scanned back in. i could do this back and forth forever. the things you get in the end, mostly by surprise, are what make the process so spontaneous and exciting. the computer is just another tool, just like a paint brush or a glue stick. the trick is to make things that challenge the viewer to guess at how a piece was created.
