Thats spectaculally dissapointing. Motion and interaction is not smooth or nice to interact with, even typography isn't great. I wouldn't particulally expect amazing web work print Pentagram, but even so, even the creative/concept is unengaging. A minimalist concept sadly under-executed. My 2pence!

i agree for the most part. there are definitely navigation issues that could be further worked out. I didn't think the movement was bad and if it seems a bit rough, it could be credited to papervision.

I am not so dissapointed, but that may be due to the fact that we are fans of DS+R's work.

I have to say that i'm quite wary in general of sites that use papervision; I love papervision3D and what it can do, but there are very very few sites that use it well as a considered part of a design rather than just for its own sake. The biggeset problem is that as a constantly developing quasi-technology it's amazingly hard to find experienced and visionary developers who can squeeze both performance and functionality out of papervision. And the basic function of this particular site is as an image gallery similar to one of the most popular freely avaliable papervision tutorials/downloads. It just doesn't seem to innovate.

Thats my extended opinion!! but it is only my personal opinion so don't take too much heed of it! :)

agreed.
very good points. I believe folks were saying the same things about flash in its early days.
