Poetry of waste. Robots that transcend their function as simply "simulating the mechanical motion" of man, that is, non-robots. Constructed from discarded technological products, they question obsoleteness, and once recycled, embody new identities.
The use of photography aims to capture the robot image in a kind of portrait, thereby erasing gender characteristics and attempting to set virtual identities.
As a result we find an undifferentiated whole deliberately ambiguous in its reading. A flirtatious exploration of technological resources which are used seductively, and at times strikingly, to both take advantage of technology and question its purposes.
Jorgelina Sara.
