A 7 minute long "typo-animation" created by the Dutch artist-collective of Studio Smack commissioned by museum De Beyerd in Breda.
People that live in or have visited the Netherlands will recognise a lot of the visual elements that make up our daily urban landscape. The artists question the overload of visual stimuli that we get daily, are they still commercially effective?

Excellent! It's a great concept & the question is good.
I think it most of the commercial elements, logos etc. that we pass by in everyday rush, are just unspotted as well as other elements of the city infrastructure, though the information may subconsciously get to our brain.

the video has a great visual style! and the message behind the video is also also a good one, one everybody should ask himself once.
ohja die had ik eens gezien ja, knap gedaan. wel grappig dat als je als vormgever door de stad loopt het eigelijk ook op deze wijze ziet. Ik vraag me wel eens af of mijn vriendin zo'n wandeling ook ervaart, althans met zoveel typografische input. waarschijnlijk niet.
Die ziet waarschijnlijk weer dingen die jij niet ziet. Mijn vriendin ziet altijd veel meer gezichten en dingen die gebeuren om ons heen... terwijl ik weer naar een of ander stickertje op een muur aan het staren ben.
